2016 ns-3 Annual Meeting
The 2016 Annual Meeting of the ns-3 Consortium will be held from June 13-17, 2016 in the Electrical Engineering building on the campus of the University of Washington. The meeting consists of the following events:
- Training courses on ns-3 are offered on June 13-14, 2016. These courses, taught by several of the ns-3 core maintainers, are suitable both for new users (no prior ns-3 experience necessary) and experienced users looking to learn more about the simulator capabilities.
- The eighth annual Workshop on ns-3 (WNS3) is a one and one-half day workshop including paper, poster, and demo presentations, from June 15-16, 2016. The objective of the workshop is to gather ns-3 users and developers, together with networking simulation practitioners and users, and developers of other network simulation tools, to discuss the ns-3 simulator and related activities.
- The annual plenary meeting of the ns-3 Consortium will be held on Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2016. This open meeting (no registration required) will be used to discuss the state of the consortium and open source project and to discuss future directions.
- The Workshop on Wireless Network Performance Evaluation (WNPE), on Friday June 17, 2016, will consist of a series of invited and open-call presentations and a panel discussion concerning the evolution of tools and frameworks for supporting research on wireless networks, including ns-3 and also testbeds and research hardware.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available, to help defray the cost of holding the events.
